Elpert, Erma (26 AUG 1930)
A very pretty wedding took place Tuesday morning at 9:30 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), when Miss Erma Elpert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elpert of Clark, was united in marriage to John Andersen, also of Clark. Father McGuire of Abbotsford performed the ceremony. Mr. Lehr of Medford was groomsman and Miss Elpert, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid.
The bride wore a gown of white satin trimmed with Spanish lace, and a long toule veil, and carried a bouquet of gladiolas. The groom wore a suit of black. The church was decorated with ferns and gladiolas.
After a delicious wedding breakfast prepared by the bride’s mother, the happy couple left for a trip, to be gone about a week.
